Meat Department Marketing

On behalf of our client, a leading local company, based in Grand Cayman, we are seeking an experienced Meat Department Manager. Reporting directly to the COO and CEO the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Supervising meat cutters and Meat Supervisor in the Meat Department and ensuring all organisational standards and policies are met.

- Ongoing training and development of cut-shop staff to achieve efficiencies and best practices.

- Building and maintaining strong relatonships with key clients in the local food service and retail industry and maintaining business continuity with the US Meat Federation and Certified Angus Beef product and brand initiatives, including managing CAB brand compliance and integrity.

- Working with the Sales Manager and Sales Team including internal training on product features and benefits and sales initiatives and liaising with the Purchasing Department on buying cycle.

- Preparation of meat to size as ordered by customer, as well as cleaning and cutting fish and poultry.

- Maintaining daily quality control and conditions of the department and meet production standards of the company.

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment to ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation requirements are met. Work within and manage HACCP and Avendra guidelines.

A competative salary of US$60 – 85,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered together with an attractive benefits package, including company car.
