Turkey switches to Uruguayan cows
Uyum Gıda, a Turkish supermarket chain, has imported 2,000 cattle from Uruguay to fight high domestic Turkish meat prices. The retailer plans to slaughter the 4.5 million Turkish Liras worth of cattle after feeding them for up to 180 days, it said in a written statement Tuesday.
