Major chicken meat processing facility for Karachi

GB Halal Foods has set up a new modern chicken processing plant in the Korangi Industrial Area of Karachi, in the Sindh province of Pakistan.

Mohammad Giasuddin, general manager of the Karachi-based, Pakistani-owned company, told Agra Europe that the processing plant and cold storage facility were set up with technical collaboration from specialist firms in the Netherlands and Italy at a cost of Rs. 60 million (about US$701 500, €557 800).
